Heading Home

We took the Discovery route home along highway 99 through Lillooet, Pemberton, Whistler and finally home. Graymont's lime operations.

During our 2nd day at Barkerville we explored the mining aspect for gold.





 Prosperous miners were able to afford a wheel barrow to help carry their belongings

 There were many unmarked grave sites
 We ran out of cash. Extra work was available

 Our B and B hostess also worked the post office. She is applying the Barkerville stamp on the postcards we mailed before leaving town
