While Halifax and the east coast have been hit by snowstorms, Vancouver has been hit by many signs of spring.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Herons

We drove to Stanley Park (Beach Ave.) to see the great blue herons which have started their nesting period.

Dinner

We had our Arts Club play group members (all but one) over for dinner last evening.

 Unfortunately the camera battery started to die off and so the focus did not work properly for this photo.

Lummi Island

Yesterday, we took a day trip with friends to Lummi Island in Washington St.

It was a 5 minute ferry ride to Lummi Island

The plan was to have lunch at The Willows Inn but unfortunately they were not opening until Friday

 

The return trip
