Birch Bay

We spent an enjoyable weekend with friends at Birch Bay. Our condo in the background.

Named after Prince Charles Lucien Bonaparte, a zoologist and nephew of Napoleon, we saw the Bonaparte's Gull which is on its migratory path heading north.

We went to see a play at Granville Island yesterday which was part of our Christmas gift to John and Lynne. 

Birthday's this past week

Both Sebastian and Audrey celebrated their birthday this past week.

Happy Easter (from Houston)

Audrey joined Allison, Sophia and Isabel (and Nils, taking the photo), for Easter service, followed by brunch, and an Easter egg hunt at home.

Sebastian's Birthday

While visiting in Vancouver, Sebastian celebrated his 6th birthday. The event took place at one of his favourite places "The Burnaby Central Railway" at Confederation Park.

Smokey the Bear

Audrey is still in Houston, and met Smokey the Bear with Isabel at an Earth Day festival in a downtown park.

Capilano Fish Hatchery & Cleveland Dam

We visited the fish hatchery in North Van this morning and then went on to see Cleveland Dam. Every boy needs a hiking stick.

Michael's Birthday

Michael and family are visiting Vancouver. Even though it was 2 weeks ago, we celebrated his birthday.
