Festival du Bois

We attended the Festival du Bois in Maillardville this afternoon where we had an opportunity to enjoy some French Canadian festivities, music and food.

These directions caught our attention.

 

 One of the groups we heard was Alouest who happened to be from Maillardville.

 These 2 had no trouble seeing above the crowd.

 A world champion hoop dancer Dallas Arcand. This entertainer was amazing - twirling 20 hoops at one time. He received a standing ovation at the end of his performance - "incroyable"

Walk in the Park

We went for a Sunday afternoon walk in the park, not all the way around Burnaby Lake.

Skiing

Casey has been skiing Cypress Mountain with the school ski club and also went to Whistler this past week to meet up with his St. FX friends. Great skiing on both mountains.

Christmas with family

We've had a busy Christmas season, with both Michael and Allison's families visiting. We had everyone for lunch and mass on Christmas Eve.

 

And some outings, including the Aquarium.

And a pee-wee hockey game.

 

Sophia and Isabel have been loving playing in the snow at the local mountain.

And Casey got to take Sebastian skiing one day.

 

Houston Visit - Late Post

While Casey visited Michael in Regina, Audrey visited Allison in Houston. Casey was able to join Audrey during the Remembrance Day long weekend.

Casey went to visit Michael and his family in Regina this past weekend. 

 Mac's pastime is chasing the cats. Good thing he can't climb.
