Capilano Hatchery

Another rainy day in Vancouver so went to the Capilano Hatchery. We wanted to go for lunch at Lonsdale Quay but Isabel said we were out for lunch yesterday; so after a short hike around Coho Loop we headed home for lunch to watch Under the Sea from Sophia's school concert.

 Slug watching was more exciting than salmon watching.

Maritime Museum

It was a rainy morning so we headed out to the Maritime Museum and stopped for lunch at Segal's Begals.

Today we celebrated Allison's birthday.

BC Lions Football

We went to see the BC Lions vs Montreal Alouettes football game this afternoon at BC Place Stadium. It was a 4pm start so that was very convenient. Lions won 41 - 5.

 Our tickets included a hot dog and pop.

 They had the roof opened during the game.

Burnaby Village Museum

Today we went to the Burnaby Village Museum. There were many interesting historical places but the highlight had to be the carousel ride.

Maplewood Farm

Today's we visited Maplewood Farm. There were a few new renovations since our last visit but the duck feeding and rabbit feeding (no photo available) were still the highlight.

 Sebastian was getting the chickens to eat seed off his runners.

 There was a new 5 day old hereford which was born just last Thursday.
