Early Dismissal

Poor weather caused the cancellation of Parent-Teacher Interviews this afternoon so Casey came home early and decided to play in the snow.

Football and Halloween

Casey, Sebastian and Michael went to the BC Lions vs Saskatchewan Roughriders football game at Empire Stadium. Sebastian kept saying "Go Riders Go" but it was in vain as the hometown Lions won 23-17.

After the football game we headed home to get ready for some "Trick or Treating". Sebastian wore his Spiderman costume and Nathaniel dressed in a sketlton costume.

Thanksgiving

Audrey's brother invited us for Thanksgiving dinner. Sebastian and Nathaniel enjoyed the haunted castle decoration

Last week was the annual Toy Run parade. We estimated 4000 motorcycles participated. We were there from start to finish

Golf

Casey and Neil ( a colleague from work) took advantage of an early dismissal and some fine October weather to enjoy a round of golf at Northlands Golf Course.

Northland's employs environmentally friendly ways of maintaining their greens.

Back At School

Casey joined the grade 8 class for their overnight retreat up Indian Arm to Camp Jubilee. The weather was very cooperative.

Kayaking

Casey took part in an "Evening Sunset Kayak" in Burrard Inlet. The water was quite calm and he got to see a few seals.

Audrey and Casey went to Whistler for an overnight stay at the Blackcomb Lodge.
