Happy Canada Day. Casey is now officially retired from teaching and Audrey has returned home from the hospital.

Winter is still 5 months away but mother nature decided it was good time to dump hail.

 It was a short storm but nonetheless hail is hail. BTW our tomato plants did survive.

Retirement Mass

The CISVA (Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese) had a special retirement Mass followed by a reception. The Mass was held at Holy Cross Parish in Burnaby. This year, there are 14 people retiring from the system

3 of which are from Notre Dame.

After 43 years of teaching, Casey will be retiring at end of the current school year. Being invited to dinner at a former colleague’s house (who is already retired), Audrey felt this was an appropriate opportunity to give Casey his retirement gift from Allison.
