Casey had his 20 km school walkathon on Friday so the next day he was ready for more. He took Audrey around Burnaby Lake for a 4 km hike from the Avalon entrance to Piper Spit entrance where they usually go to feed the ducks. There were many signs of spring.
The water level is considerably higher than what we see in the summer. Usually we're able to stand on the cement slabs.
This past Victoria Day weekend, Audrey went to Birch Bay for 5 days while Casey was able to join her for only 3 days before we returned on Saturday for our last playdate. A hike along Terrell Creek Marsh.
