We decided to go to Rocky Point for a short outing this past weekend. Although it only lasted a short while ,we had no warning that we would get caught in a Vancouver snowstorm.
Casey was back to work so Monday was a short outing day to Warner Loat to feed the ducks and then back home to do some exterior decorating. Another dollar store item provides some fun time for Sebastian and Casey as they put Sir Glue Knight together. Photo taken by Nathaniel.
We went to the Vandusen Gardens this morning where they were having a garden (mostly seeds) display. There was a children's corner which attracted our attention. Sebastian started by dissecting a seed.
Grandpa Casey helps Nathaniel with his seedy grass stocking.
After all that gardening, it's time for a snack. Sebastian preparing his seedy grass.
Breaking of the coconut seemed to be the highlight of the visit.
Michael and his family arrived this week. After a long flight and a night's rest, Sebastian and Nathaniel thought it would be a good idea to feed their dogs.
Enjoying some play time.
A visit to the dollar store makes for hours of fun. Watching their dry beans expand inside the glass of water. The beans take the shape of various animals.
Casey and Audrey went to Boundary Bay (in Tsawwassen) on Saturday for an enjoyable stroll along the beach. As soon as they entered Centennial Beach they saw 3 eagles.
